Through its strong partnerships with Bell Canada, ADT , Solo Mobile and Cellutrak, Celluland is able to provide local lines, long distance calling plans, satellite TV, alarm systems, prepaid long-distance cards, wireless prepaid, GPS tracking systems in case of vehicle theft, Voice over Internet Protocol as well as a payment center.



Celluland is a telecommunications superstore that offers customer a one-stop shopping experience, and the ability to purchase any communications product they desire from a single source.



Celluland has developed a distribution system which offers clients the newest and most desirable telecommunications tools at prices that defy the competition. THE HISTORY



The company was founded by Abraham Finkel, Celluland’s Chief Executive Officer, in September 1985. The first Celluland store was located on St Jacques Street in Montreal. Some 26 years later, it continues to enjoy a thriving business.



Headquartered in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, Celluland has become a national franchise operation and is continually adding new stores to its network from coast to coast.





THE MISSION



The Mission is to provide innovative, practical and top-quality products that help save time and improve the way people communicate. Celluland believes that a high level of customer service and professionalism will be the keys to growth and success into the 21st century.





THE STRUCTURE



Celluland has developed a strong infrastructure market in order to insure a local directorate presence near each store location and close to the franchisees.



A National Master franchisee responsible for all Master franchisees in Canada. Currently Master franchisees are in operation in three provinces : Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia, with others coming soon.



The Master franchisees’ role is to develop the territory, recruit, train and support franchisees in his territory. Each Master franchisee has a team composed of individuals adequately trained to perform their tasks and assist franchisees with the development of their franchises.



Each point of distribution has both inbound and outbound sales representatives.



Each entity is independently owned and operated by an individual company.



Each division is well supported by the level immediately above it, which is responsible for organizational communication, reporting, controlling, advising, and ensuring optimal efficiency and productivity.



Celluland headquarters will continue to coordinate the relationship between itself, its network carriers and suppliers, and its own distribution resources; designating contact personnel for each aspect of its business, including sales orientation, training, product supply, site location approval, and the various degrees of support at different levels of its operations.

- The franchisee offers services to consumers andcompanies of all sizes with a strong emphasis on the small business sector.



- The majority of services provided by Celluland generate recurring revenues. Once you acquire customers, they are yours for life or at least as long as they remain active and generate revenues for your franchise on a monthly basis.



- One of the great advantages of this concept is that as a franchisee you can sell products from leading and respected brands such as Bell and ADT. Basically, you offer your clientele high quality products combined with personalized service.



- The average size of a Celluland store ranges from 800 to 1200 sq. feet, and it is preferably located in highly visible and accessible strip malls. The size of Celluland Express kiosks is 10 x 15 ft.



- All purchases are made by purchase orders which must be approved by Celluland headquarters. Celluland therefore confidently has “ hands on ” knowledge of who is performing well and who is not. It can thus make recommendations to and for stores that need to bolster their production and / or help them focus on more lucrative business opportunities.



- Celluland headquarters can also determine whether or not a franchisee needs additional training and, with due diligence, make certain that the required training is quickly provided.



- Celluland has been in the business long enough to know that keeping carriers and suppliers happy involves high performance and superior customer service. Celluland has also learned the value of keeping the field operatives motivated and productive. This means maximizing selling opportunities by keeping the stores well stocked with new and innovative products and technology that consumers wants and need for their everyday life. Celluland has learned how to sell and evaluate the needs of each consumer, and to provide him/her with the products that will best satisfy his/her requirements. At the same time, Celluland urges the customers to use the products and services to their full advantage so as to increase the recurring revenues for franchisees.



- Celluland understands the value of customer service and spends the time needed to explain to a customer how to fully use the equipment offered by the company’s networks and product suppliers.



- Satisfied customers bring referrals and Celluland is pleased to offer referral incentives to maximize goodwill and productivity





The franchise agreement clearly and concisely explains the obIigations of each franchisee and provides for swift termination in the event of uncorrected or uncorrectable wrongdoing.



- Celluland reserves the right to require that franchisees utilize computerized accounting softwares or computer terminals which Celluland, at its sole discretion, may designate from time to time. In addition, the franchisee shall utilize and maintain such automated central accounting system equipment as prescribed by the franchisor.



- Compliance with Celluland and carrier rules, regulations and policies is strictly enforced and our stores are constantly visited by supervisors without prior notice to insure that they are operating properly, adequately staffed, kept in good order, and are equipped with sufficient merchandise and adequate ROR material.



- Franchisees requiring assistance can contact Celluland’s headquarters at any time, and we will take the necessary dispositions for training and for the supply of information with and from our carriers and product suppliers on their behalf.



- Franchisees must advise Celluland of their desire to renew their franchise agreement at least 12 months in advance of its termination, and they must be in good standing with headquarters to do so.





Celluland’s business consists of selling wireless telecommunications and other ancillary telecommunication products such as local landline and long distance, high speed DSL internet, security and alarm products and services, satellite T.V, GPS location and tracking products.



- The clients have steadily provided the highest “ ARPU ” (average revenue per user) to all of the Celluland network providers and it is the intention to continue to do so.



- The company has perfected its expertise in securing corporate accounts and “ SOHO ” (small operation home office businesses), which historically have provided the most lucrative and loyal customers for our continuously growing customer base. Celluland has, in fact, traditionally provided the highest volumes of this class of customer from any of their distribution resources to affiliated carriers in Canada, and are recognized as specialists in the solicitation and servicing of corporate and SOHO businesses. Celluland has a reputation for satisfying all of the needs of their residential customers. So much in fact, that Celluland is known for having the lowest possible churn rate within its customer base.
