Birdsall Family

Our Newest and Youngest Masters!

Paul and Jackie Birdsall took everyone by surprise. They achieved the highest rank in Shaklee, Master Coordinator in less than two years! They joined Shaklee in February 2006 after being involved with another multi-level organization that was not offering a fair compensation plan, according to Paul.

There is a very sad story behind this amazing success, but thankfully everything turned out just fine. The Birdsall family experienced a tragic event in their lives that made them rethink their product choices. Their five year old daughter, 18-month at that time, needed an urgent liver transplant. Her liver was rapidly losing its enzymes, possibly due to damage caused by toxins in their home, according to doctors. Paul and Jackie decided to rid their home of all toxins and without hesitation, turned to Shaklee and its toxic-free, biodegradable cleaning products.

The Birdsalls rapidly recognized the power of the Shaklee business opportunity and like only true leaders do, embraced it, never looked back and made it work for them. Paul explains that his WHY is so strong that he never let other people discourage him. Now at 36-years-old, he is not ready for retirement, but knows that he could retire if he wanted to and says that it's a good feeling.

Paul and Jackie belong to a new generation of Shaklee business leaders. What's their secret for rapid success? They identify people who want to become entrepreneurs. Then they introduce them to Shaklee products. Paul feels that everyone will automatically love the products because they are the best, so business comes first and products are second. His favourite recruiting tool is the GOLD Ambassador Program. He feels that offering any other option to prospects would cheat them out of the extraordinary Shaklee opportunity. And because of the wonderful power of duplication, Paul only devotes eight hours a day to his business!

"You have to be willing to fail and learn from failure and keep learning until you get there," says Paul. But he does admit that he still has so much to learn.

Paul and Jackie's organization is already expanding internationally in countries including Malaysia, Mexico, Japan, and Taiwan. They have demonstrated that with Shaklee, the possibilities are endless. It's out there for the taking! Paul's ultimate goal is to build a powerful organization for his three kids (ages three, five and seven) who will one day have the possibility to carry on the Shaklee legacy.

Paul and Jackie are very grateful to their team who is very driven and focused. Withoutthem they wouldn't be where they are today.

Madeleine and Roger Trottier

One Couple...

Two Master Coordinatorships... Three Generations!

Here's Madeleine and Roger's Shaklee story told by their daughter Nicole: "In 1967, bouncing back from a restaurant bankruptcy in California and my mother's failing health, my parents experienced a true rags-to-riches story. My most vivid memory of the bankruptcy is creditors coming into our apartment and hauling off our furniture! Reflecting on those memories always brings me to an appreciation for how it must have been for my parents watching their daughters pleading with strangers not to take their beds away.

"Another vivid memory is my mother's continuous quiet suffering with rheumatoid arthritis, the numerous doctor visits, and the abundance of pain medication. Through it all, what occurred was what other people might call a coincidence, but what our family calls a miracle. A friend of my parents shared some information about Shaklee, a line of natural-source nutritional products they were confident would help my mother regain her health. At the same time, they told my parents about a new business model that might benefit their financial situation.

"The rest is history, a blessing, and a legacy that continues to live in our family three generations deep. (Our daughter, Michelle and granddaughter Natalya, also share Shaklee.) Today, 37 years later, our family and thousands of others in our Shaklee organization continue to experience excellent health and financial security based on the business model of Network Marketing.

Madeleine and Roger became Masters in the US, and then moved to Canada where they started another Shaklee business and became Masters for the second time -the only business leaders to have accomplished this!

Bob Loucks

Celebrating 25 Years With Shaklee!

Bob, who has been a Master Coordinator since 1982, received his 25-year Award with Shaklee and is looking forward to the next 25 years. Bob's success comes from his ability to work hand in hand with his team. He's focused on their goals and helps them reach whatever goals they decide to attain.

"I came to Shaklee Canada when the company was still young and grew along side with it. When I got sponsored in, I felt that my vision for better health and a healthier planet were answered by the company philosophy.

"Today, more than ever, this philosophy is reinforced by our new owner and CEO Roger Barnett who takes pride in helping the world be a better place and offering the impoverished communities the right tools to thrive in a better environment.

"I also always felt I could count on the Home Office staff support to help me reach my goals. And I enjoy giving the same support to everyone in my organization.

We're in a people business and we must always take care of people." Dr. Shaklee often said: "The more you share, the more you receive." And I have found this to be true through out my Shaklee career.

If you want to be a part the number one natural nutrition and environmentally responsible company in North America and you are ready to invest your time to build your own business, I can help you!"

Ron Pawluk

One Of The Very First Shaklee Businesses In Canada

My mother Laurie Pawluk had been ordering Shaklee products for a few years prior to the company coming to Canada. She had some major health issues and was very impressed with the results of the Shaklee products compared to other nutritional products. She was ordering them from a relative in the U.S. and although the cost of ship¬ping from the U.S. at that time was quite high, she found the results were well worth the extra costs. She was very excited when they announced Shaklee was coming to Canada.

She was contacted by and met with Steve Locke (Shaklee Canada's first president) in Edmonton. He traveled across Canada recruiting Shaklee Members and ran Shaklee Canada's operations with his wife from their own home. In 1976, my

Mom signed up with Bruce and Elaine Mannes (U.S. Masters), making her one of the very first Shaklee Canada Members. She was never much of a sales person but because of her confidence in the effectiveness and quality of the products, she talked about Shaklee with anyone she would meet.

She soon became a Supervisor (now Director), and without knowing, she had started a substantial Shaklee business. She enjoyed helping people create healthier lives and seeing the results they would get. Many of the people she introduced to Shaklee grew their own businesses the same way she did, including me. As the business started to grow, my father, Mat Pawluk, who was in a very stressful position with the school board, started seeing the income potential and began to show more interest in the Shaklee business.

My father would often joke that after my mother received her first Shaklee car, it quickly went from being Laurie's Shaklee business to their Shaklee business. With Mat's business knowledge and Laurie's love of the products, they quickly built one of the largest Shaklee businesses in Canada.

Their Shaklee business not only allowed Mat Pawluk to retire early from the school board but allowed them both to enjoy a wonderful life style and benefits that they would never have had a chance to enjoy without Shaklee (major home renovations, summer lake cottage, winter home, cars, trips etc)

I had my own Shaklee business within my parents' organization and after my father's passing in 1999, I took over the organization. Since I grew with Shaklee, the transition was easy. I teach people what my parents tought me. I feel asense of accomplishment in sharingShakleeand helping people attain personal and financial health. And with the help of a great business group and now my children Janelle and Robert, we continue to enjoy the benefits of what has now turned into a growing third generation Shaklee business.
