Irene Martin, RN, who was born and raised in Quebec, founded the company in Ottawa in 1994. Over the past 17 years, Retire-At-Home has developed a success program of services, policies and procedures that meet the highest standards of health care in Canada.

In 2008, Mrs. Martin’s son, Jonathan Martin, launched the franchise program for Retire-At-Home. Using the systems and processes from the highly successful location in Ottawa, a complete franchise program was developed to help
compassionate, energetic entrepreneurs build a successful business in home health care. The franchise program includes full training and support in all aspects of the business
including: business development programs, hands-on
training program, business launch program, marketing tools and plans, operations manuals, policies and procedures in health care and human resources, and much more. Our team of dedicated business professionals works closely with each franchisee to ensure their growth and success.
Since its franchise launch in 2008, Retire-At-Home has received thousands of applications across Canada for its franchises and has successfully awarded 25 locations in 5 provinces. In 2011, Retire-At-Home officially launched its franchise program in Quebec and has already awarded its first location.
The province of Quebec has more than 1.1 million seniors, 250,000 of which already receive home care services.
